Donate Supplies
Throughout the year, NSC receives a very significant amount of food donations from Talbot County citizens, faith-based organizations, the Farmer’s Market, and other nonprofits. In addition, NSC received hygiene products, cleaning supplies, diapers, wipes, and other daily-living supplies.
These can be donated to NSC at 126 Port Street, Easton, Maryland 21601, M-F, 8 am – 4:00 pm. Contact us at 410-822-5015 to make arrangements for large donations.
Donate Your Time
NSC welcomes and encourages community members as volunteers to assist program directors in all service areas. Volunteers answer phones, assist in the food pantry and with donations. Currently more than 20 volunteers provide over 300 hours each month. If paid at just minimum wage that amounts to a savings to the Neighborhood Service Center of $2,475.00 in salaries each month.
Donate Your Talent
Without a doubt, Talbot County is home to some of the most talented people on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This year NSC received knitted items for the winter for its customers. In addition, during the start of the pandemic, NSC received a variety of homemade masks for its shelter staff, shelter residents, service center staff and customers.
NSC welcomes gifts of talent to include hand-crafted donations, financial and various life-skills training for our customers. Contact NSC to donate your talent at 410-822-5015.
